At Venafi, we envision a world where machines are doing amazing things to improve our quality of life, and they are all safe and protected. We feel the same way about the Venafi Warrior Community. Our Venafi Warrior Community provides a trusted, safe, protected, fun environment to get answers, share ideas, collaborate, and learn best practices. This is a community designed to help make you more successful using Venafi. When you enter the community, you are joining an incredible network!
These participation guidelines will encourage appropriate behavior and best practices to maintain a trusted environment within the Venafi Warrior Community. This document is a guide to what’s in and out of bounds, as well as how to escalate an issue if a situation requires it.
We rely on our community members to notify us of behaviors that are inconsistent with these Community Participation Guidelines. If you need to report any issues or misuse of the community, please reach out to the Venafi Community Team at email@example.com. We also welcome your feedback, ideas, and questions regarding the Venafi Warrior Community to the same email address.
Venafi’s HEARTS Values
We live by a core set of values that are essential to our culture, and we encourage the members of our community to help us maintain that culture in the Venafi Warrior Community through these values. These values are called our HEARTS values, and they are woven into everything we do as a company, including our community. Let’s dig into these and how they relate to your participation in the community.
H- Honesty. Take the responsibility to be sincere and transparent in all actions and communications.
This is a professional community where we encourage our members to represent themselves authentically to get the most out of the collaborative nature of the community. What you can expect when you participate in the community is to have open, honest, and supportive discussions with a wide variety of Venafi customers, developers, partners, team members, and other Venafi enthusiasts.
E- Example (lead by). Treat other members of the community with respect and empathy.
Do not use threats, ethnic slurs, personal insults, or obscenity, or encourage anyone else to do so. Please do not engage in personal attacks or disparage any other participant in this community. It is OK to disagree, but be thoughtful and constructive in your discourse. Do not share your company’s confidential information or your own or anyone else’s personally identifiable information (in particular, do not “dox” anyone).
A- Awareness. The Venafi team and the members of our community work to have a situational understanding of both self and the environment that can only be discovered through listening, curiosity, and having empathy for others.
R- Risk Taking. The members of our community are excited to participate, share, and to work with peers to discover new, creative solutions to problems.
Embrace the community as an opportunity to share the great things you’ve been working on, to write about topics that you’re excited about, to practice your public speaking skills, and to use your expertise to help other community members be successful.
T- Team Before Self. We truly believe that our community members are an extension of our team. As individuals in the Venafi Warrior Community, we look out for each other and for the community as a whole.
We work together towards the common goal of helping drive the Venafi Warrior Community and the field of Machine Identity Management forward. We look to these HEARTS values to guide our actions to maintain a strong and successful Venafi Warrior Community.
S- Social Good. As Venafi Warriors, we care deeply about the world around us and actively support initiatives and programs that make the world a better place.
We encourage you to find and create opportunities to actively support social good as part of your efforts in the Venafi Warrior Community. We’ll be sharing different social good opportunities in the community and look forward to working together to make the world a better place.
General Code of Conduct
Be friendly and respectful
Users will conduct themselves in such a manner to create a friendly, respectful, supportive, and open environment for other users. Any form of harassment, illegal behavior, and threatening behavior towards an individual and any part of their identity will not be tolerated.
Venafi expects all Warrior Community members to maintain a friendly, safe, supportive and harassment-free environment, regardless of gender, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion or other group identity.
Unacceptable or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated. Venafi may prohibit your participation at any time if you fail to comply with these Terms, or for any or no reason, without notice or liability of any kind. Further, anyone engaged in unacceptable behavior may result in immediate suspension from the Community or Site account termination.
Users may not post any pornographic or otherwise offensive material, share illegal or copyrighted content, attempt to distribute illegal items, distribute viruses or other material which gives you access to or interferes with the computers or systems of other users, or generally anything that is considered illegal in your locality.
Stay on topic
Please do not change the subject of a discussion to something not intended by the original poster. Any off-topic posting or “hijacking” of threads will result in content being removed and ultimately can cause users to be denied access to the community.
No commercial use
Users may not use the forum for (commercial) activities such as the advertising or sale of products or services, the sending of commercial messages (spam), the offering of (interactive) games, or the advertising of other chat forums or websites.
No sharing of private information
Please refrain from sharing personal information (telephone numbers, email addresses, IP addresses, etc.) of yourself, other people or companies.
No multiple accounts
It is not allowed to own multiple accounts on this community. If the Community Team detects double accounts all secondary accounts will be deleted.
Use your best judgment
All users on this community are here to help, however nobody can be held responsible for any negative consequences resulting out of information derived from this community.
The Community Team reserves the right to edit or remove content posted in the community. Should a duplicate Topic be posted, for example, Topics could be merged together to create a better experience for members. Or, if personal or confidential information is accidentally shared in a post, the sensitive information may be deleted from the post.
Additionally, the Community Team may delete or restrict users, should a user be found to violate the the code of conduct or participation guidelines. If these actions are taken and the restricted user would like to reach out, please contact the Community Team by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
Ownership And Content
To the extent applicable, you will retain all rights and title to and in the messages and other content that you may contribute to the Venafi Warrior Community. Venafi will retain all rights to and in the messages and other content that Venafi and Venafi service providers may contribute to the Venafi Warrior Community. By contributing to the Venafi Warrior Community, you represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights and title to and in the messages and other content that you may contribute thereto. Do not post anything that infringes on the intellectual property rights of Venafi, other community members, or third parties.
Venafi does not review or endorse content provided by other parties and disclaims all liability to the maximum extent possible for any content provided by any other party.

We are excited to share the Venafi Warrior Community with you through the inSided platform. Please abide at all times by inSided’s Terms & Conditions.
The Venafi Warrior Community is currently only available for Venafi customers. As such, please keep your credentials confidential for your own security and the security of the wider community. If someone else at your organization needs access, please have them contact email@example.com.
Information we obtain from cookies are used to analyze our community. We use this data to adjust the community to your personal preferences. Finally, when sending information about our products and services, we can take your previous interest in certain pages into account.
You choose which cookies you want to allow. If you have an account you can adjust your choice in your profile settings. If you do not have an account, you can change your cookie settings by deleting them via the internet options of your browser and visiting the community again. You will then be asked to choose your settings again. There are 3 settings: Basic, Normal, and Complete.
